The Story

Little Saint Southwest is a brand built from the heart of an artist and empowered by stories passed down from a grandmother to her granddaughter.
These stories built beautiful dreams and one day the little girl grew up and chased those dreams to New Mexico. Every item her hands have made ever since has been touched by that certain kind of desert light...
those mesa shades just so...
Founder and maker, Sarah Simmons Krohn, now works from a small home studio in Nashville, TN finding ways to weave the desert life her grandmother shared with her in to her personal art practice and the brand she is passionate about bringing to life - Little Saint Southwest.

We believe in art. We believe in kids being kids and dressing with whimsy and style.
We believe in providing organic options, vintage options, and unisex styles that have a sense of joy.
We love the imperfect-perfect of handpainted and handprinted textiles and work hard to provide that soft, faded look of well-loved vintage prints, and we strive to minimize our footprint with non-toxic, water based inks and 100% recycled packaging.
Little Saint Southwest wants to make a difference and we care about this planet.
This is where we play. This is where our kiddos play.
This is where their kiddos will play.
Buying clean cotton creates a demand for clean cotton
and that means less chemicals in the world.
As a new, small business we can’t afford to make every piece we sell organic quite yet,
but that is what we are aiming for.
So thank you for choosing planet friendly options
and bringing us one step closer to our dream.
Shout it from the rooftops little ones...

Thank you for visiting the shop and sharing in our story.
